Note: All Florida sisters are eligible
Only a current Chapter or Council Woman of the Year will be eligible to be selected as State Woman of the Year. Competition is based on sorority activities from April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027. Each candidate will be judged in the degree that she holds, NOT in the degree of her chapter. The six (6) degrees and council will be judged separately with a first place Woman of the Year awarded. The State Woman of the Year will be selected from the aforementioned winners.
A member from the nominee’s chapter or council, along with telephone number is required on this form. A resume of not more than three (3) pages (8 ½ x 11), typed and double spaced must accompany this form based on the attainments listed below. The resume should be written in a format that can be read at convention. Please include a 4x6 color photo.
Resumes with sorority activities from previous years will be disqualified and returned.
RESUME SHOULD INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Participation in Beta Sigma Phi activities throughout the year.
2. Attended community activities as a representative of Beta Sigma Phi.
3. Individual participation in contests and special projects sponsored by International.
4. Include leadership in offices, chairmanships or committee activities.
5. Distinguished herself through her outstanding contributions to Beta Sigma Phi
Woman of the Year reception to be held prior to dinner on Friday. Information will be included in your registration packet. Please dress appropriately for presentation and pictures.
